I really love to do the animation. And playing with interesting camera angles is fun!
"I'll add one where we shoot from underneath the spinning magical papers!" so I said to Simon excitedly, "a low angle shot." That became shot 34b - and with 37, 38, 39, I was done with key poses. 4 shots in one day on October 16 - the Friday of week 12!
So here, I've Anna looking bewildered by the spinning paper - one of my favorite shots.

Jaws Jumps up excitedly towards PapersThe "Rule of the Thirds" is really useful -- my favorite technique. I always try to put that into practice by putting points of focus and interest into the areas of thirds... It does indeed make the shots more interesting and effective. And yes, not forgetting of avoidance of "crossing the line".
And the other shot I've so much fun doing is Jaws jumping on the tree branch to dislodge the violet paper. I fussed around quite a bit with where the paper should be and how it should be dislodged. And also finding interesting camera angle. This time it is high angle looking from above the branch. I can't help laughing doing this shot, making Jaws jump with gusto -- and the tree branch springs up when Jaws is in the air, and down when Jaws lands on it. I really like the result of it ... it looks believable!
